During the summer of 2024, I co-led an “advertorial” campaign with The New Yorker. The vision? Showcase BNY’s 240-year impact and influence within the iconic city of New York. The story was featured on The New Yorker’s website, across the Conde Nasté portfolio, and throughout a paid and organic social campaign.

Birgo Capital

Content marketing was a new focus in the Birgo Capital marketing strategy. I wrote weekly blog posts ranging from apartment tips to investment thought-leadership articles. Every article was optimized for SEO and keyword ranking.

The Roanoke Times

Throughout her senior year, Gigi wrote for The Roanoke Times newspaper.

Every week, the student staff submitted articles for a section called called “The Edge.” This program gave Gigi experience with her first professional media organization and improved her research, communication and writing skills.

Fragasso Financial Advisors

From May 2017 to May 2019, Gigi wrote several articles for the financial firm’s quarterly magazine. She also oversaw and edited the production of other articles, assisted in the final editing and layout, and professionally interacted with clients throughout the writing process.

Mill Mountain Theatre

During Gigi’s internship at Mill Mountain Theatre, she wrote press releases highlighting upcoming events.
